Merry Christmas

Got everything I wanted, got to sleep in and wake up to see Robin, Drew, and Halie looking at me and saying Merry Christmas. What else does one need but their love ones around them. Thank you God for these blessing.

Drew's New Ride

Here is Drew's 1st car and it only cost 1 dollar. Ford Escort 1999 with manual trans.

Another Long Weekend

Well Drew had a game on Friday and they won. Then he had party on Saturday noon, and Robin's company party was that night. Then we had the cookie swap on Sunday, and that's when Drew got his car for one dollar. Some of us are glad it's over.

Last Week

What a week had everything planned out then comes Wednesday. Well Drew got hit in the mouth at practice and we spent about 5 hrs at the hospital. They had to put a splint across his front top teeth, we will hopefully find out the real damage on the 1st. So we get home at 1 or 2 am and have to be back at St. Joesph at 6 for me, then I stay there until Friday at noon. Wow what a long 3 days that was, but Drew is doing great and hopefully want lose any teeth and get back to playing in a week or so.

1st JV game

Drew played great had 8 points 4 rebounds 1 block and 1 foul, but they lost the game booo.

Things To Make You Feel Old

1. When your child gets their learners 2. When your child needs to shave 3. When your child buys your dinner 4. When your child tells you it's time for bed 5. When your child starts telling you about a old song they just heard on the radio 6. When your child starts to worry about you when you forget to call home.

Weekend apart

The weekend was good and sad, Robin went to Ashville, NC to the Biltmore House and Drew and I stayed home. She went with Terrie and had a great time, while she was gone Drew got his learners so now he can drive. It seems like just yesterday he was driving that little electric car around the house. Now he can drive my truck!

Basketball

After a week of try-outs and not sure how many weeks of conditioning Drew made the JV team. I think he did not make varsity because he is the only real post they had for JV and had one already for V. Also that Coach Roybi is now the JV coach and he really likes Drew and how he plays.

C-4 at PCA

Drew went to the c-4 game at school Friday, an I went for the pics. Then just did nothing really all weekend.

Good Weekend

We had a good weekend not great but good. Drew had B-Ball camp for AAU/ prepallstars at Emory on Saturday, he said he played mostly against 11 and 12 graders. but had fun doing it. Then as a family we watched a movie and just hung out. Went to church on Sunday an they went to the book store while went to work for sometime. So it was a good weekend.

Have you ever been sitting at work, working along and you are not bored, but maybe bored with what you are doing, but know you gotta do it... so to keep yourself motivated to keep going you start chewing gum and chewing gum and chewing gum, then a whole pack later you think "what in the world"?

Well, it happens and you move on .......

Update

Ok here is the update on what is going on with me. After tons of testing everything from CT scan to a Nuclear Stress and lots of different med.They say it is called Dilated Cardiomyopathy which means my heart is only putting out about 40% of what it should be and is enlarged. We have looked at all( one) options and I will be getting a pace maker called a ICD in Nov. around the 19th. There are adjustments that I will have to make but everything should work out fine and things should be back to normal by Christmas hopefully.

Fish Fry

A time once a years for everyone to get together and work and have fun doing it. Were we tried when it was over, yes but as you can see people young and old, family and friends, even some strangers had some laughs doing it together.

Rain All Weekend

They say it can't rain all the time, but here lately that is all it's done. But a good time to just be lazy and watch movies. Going to the book store or coffee shop or playing games as a family or hanging out with a friend.

Visiting Texas

Drew and I visited my sister Neeley and family; Mark, Shelby & Sam in Waxachaxie, TX. We had a good time with them and meeting new friends. Let me just say, you think that Georgia is hot in the summer time, not true, Texas is hotter! I love to visit, but was glad to be home, sleep in my bed and hug my husband. We missed him and of course our animals too!

Robin's Birthday Updated

Thank you to everyone who called or sent e-mail she was very happy. We went to the Cheesecake Factory last weekend with her Mom and Doug. On Wed. night we went to Longhorn with her Dad Rex. Drew and I got her this bike rack that she wanted.

Robin's Birthday

After the race we had the July 4th pool party in our neighborhood, Stonemont.
